That places it in a distinct position among the sleep compounds we cover. DSIP acts on sleep depth, delta-wave architecture. Epitalon acts on sleep timing, circadian rhythm through pineal melatonin. The GHRPs act indirectly through growth hormone pulses during slow-wave sleep. Selank, as our material describes it, acts on the anxiety that prevents sleep in the first place.
The GABA overlap worth noting
DSIP also touches the GABA system, and DSIP's contraindication list includes benzodiazepines, other CNS depressants and ACE inhibitors specifically because of that overlap. The Playbook's broader rule is that no peptide should be combined with CNS-active medication without physician awareness.
